Rhowena (Rho) Blank is a Senior Advisor to Author Capital Partners. She has 25+ years of experience in accounting and operational management at investment advisory and audit firms.
She has 25+ years of experience in accounting and operational management at investment advisory and audit firms.
Prior to Author Capital, Rho was Chief Financial Officer at Mesirow Advanced Strategies, an alternatives investment firm which managed over $14 billion for pension funds, family offices and high net worth individuals. At Mesirow, she played key roles in strategic financial and operations management, mergers and acquisition analysis, and service providers selection, implementation and oversight for the firm and funds.
Prior to joining Mesirow in 2009, Rho worked in various senior management roles including Man Investments and Calamos Asset Management. In addition, she was an auditor at EY where she focused on audits of investment advisors, hedge funds, banks, and mutual funds.
Rho received an MBA from University of Illinois as well as a B.S. in Accounting and B.S. in Business Education.
