Seneca
Nick is a Partner & Head of Engagement at Author Capital Partners overseeing investor relations, communications and marketing, and public relations.
He has 15+ years of diverse experience in client and external engagement, having worked with the highest echelons of leadership across business, government, military, media, and academia.
Prior to joining Author Capital in 2022, Nick was a Principal at BDT Capital Partners, a merchant bank focused exclusively on founder- and family-led businesses, where he played key roles in strategic content development, client engagement, program management, and marketing and communications.
From 2011 to 2015, Nick was Director of Programs at The Chicago Council on Global Affairs, where – among other responsibilities – he led the Council’s business and macro economy focused programming and promoted the institution’s endeavor to be the premier resource to support the global engagement of Chicago companies through content and convening.
Nick began his career in wealth management at Citi Smith Barney (now Morgan Stanley) and Barclays Wealth.
Nick earned an MA in International Relations from the University of Chicago and a BA in Political Science from University of Vermont.
